Ashley Beatriz Villanueva Miedlar is a contemporary fine artist whose work explores the space where imagination and reality converge. Blending classical artistic influences with elements of fantasy, mythology, and storytelling, she creates paintings and art works that invite viewers into worlds both familiar and otherworldly.

Through richly detailed compositions and evocative symbolism, Ashley’s work examines themes of identity, wonder, motherhood, transformation, and the enduring connection between humanity and the fantastical. Her subjects range from celestial beings and mythical creatures to intimate portraits that celebrate the emotional depth of the human experience.

Working primarily in oil but also in pastels and colored pencil, Ashley strives to create pieces that feel timeless—artworks that inspire curiosity, reflection, and a sense of magic. Each painting is an invitation to pause, dream, and rediscover the extraordinary hidden within the everyday.

Ashley lives with her husband, daughter, and two Mini Australian Shepherds in Texas and is a current student at the Glassell School of Art in Houston. She draws inspiration from her own experiences with motherhood and her interest in fantasy books, games and movies.
